We
face continual challenges associated with changing times, and must
therefore plan wisely to ensure the best for our children. Future
Provincial legislation related to education will affect the Lakeland
Catholic District. Catholic Schools work within these parameters
ensuring that, in addition to an excellent academic program, students
learn in an environment that is based on gospel values. The following
belief statements guide our decision-making:
Every
student in every class will be guided through a solid academic program
by teachers who recognize that each child has special needs that must
be addressed if the child is to succeed now and in the future.
Staff
members will partner with parents and community agencies/organizations
in the educational process in whatever capacity we mutally identify
as beneficial.
Lakeland
Catholic Schools are safe and caring places for all children because
respect for self, others and property is an expectation.
