7-12 Technology

At the Junior High/High school level, students have already become experienced technology users, in many cases surpassing the knowledge of parents and adults in their lives. During these last years of their secondary school education, students continue using many of the programs introduced to them during their first years, while also being introduced to new advanced programs.

The goal at this level is to ensure students have the skills necessary to succeed once they move on into adulthood. Teachers are intentional in their integration of laptops and other technology devices in the classroom. From simple search engine research to complex presentations, students are able to take advantage of the programs and devices available to them at Lakeland Catholic.

On top of laptops and SMART boards in classrooms, our high schools are equipped with a top of the line Video editing suite, digital cameras, video cameras, sound systems and many other tools at student's disposal.
